Digital Switchover

The Brief
Deliver a fully bilingual multi-media consumer campaign to promote the Digital Switchover for S4C. The project required a comprehensive communications programme which ensured that the general public of all ages was informed about the changes and that they were inspired to take necessary action to switch to digital. Objectives included: Our Approach
A multi-channel campaign, On with the Show used well-known S4C personalities to demonstrate that switching to digital is easier than learning a circus skill. In addition to TV trails, online activity and press and marketing literature, contemporary circus shows and workshops toured Wales, taking S4C's digital message to the heart of ommunities.
Our campaign combined the many familiar faces of S4C with a real sense of fun and entertainment.

95% of attendees found the sessions useful.

We engaged with over 7,000 people during the period through face to face events alone across Wales, plus we worked to build a strong profile for the campaign using PR (with partners Working Word PR) and online TV commercials.

This project won the UK award for best Integrated Campaign at the CIPR Excellence Awards.
